About the Author Jim McLennan is an ardent fly-fisher, outdoor writer, photographer and river conservationist. He was one of the first fly-fishing guides on the Bow River, and in his thirty years of fishing the river he has seen its reputation grow to international status. He is the host of the television series Iron Blue Fly-Fishing and a frequent contributor to outdoor publications. The first edition of Blue Ribbon Bow received the Outdoor Writers of Canada Book of the Year Award and his Trout Streams of Alberta, a national best-seller, earned him the Andy Russell Nature Writing Award.
